Route 2 - Canoe Lake to Burnt Island Lake: Starting from Access Point # 5, travel north to the top of Canoe Lake, portaging 295 meters into Joe Lake. North and then east on Joe Lake passing Arrowhon Lodge and up the creek to the 495 meter portage into Baby Joe. A short paddle will bring you to the 200 meter portage around a dam, into Burnt Island Lake. Camp for 2 nights on Burnt Island Lake (2). The second day is yours to explore the surrounding area, fish, swim or just relax. On day 3 you return by the same route to Canoe Lake.
